Pumpkin Carving

We actually participated in this glorious tradition a week ago but it's taken me this long to post pictures. First of all our pumpkins were right out of our garden and they smelled so good! It was really amazing. The whole time we were carving them we were all breathing deeply. It was a really yummy melon smell.
Here is Dan working hard and Charlie presiding over the pumpkin carving tradition. This is Charlie's favorite time of year.

Donald wanted to make silly faces with his brothers and sisters for the pictures. They are all so cute.

Donald's picture in the third one beats all the funny faces...that's what he was going for, right? I could eat him...and finish the rest for dessert! I love the fact that I could be there in 20 minutes. I can't express how much that thought fills me with joy!!! You better lock your doors! Mwwaaaa. And guess who just poped in this very evening!!! Yes, Jessie Hunter!!! You would have thought I had the lottery guy at my door! No, no, even better, I had Jessie Hunter at my very door! Is there anything better than this? Tell me if there is, because I dare you!

Those are big pumpkins. I really love the one eye ball one! So fun, we didn't carve this year, but had pumpkins. Next year...

So fun to develop family traditions. I can't believe how big Donald is. As always, your family is picture perfect.

I'm glad that you considered it a positive because you'd better get used to it, Shari. I hope that Sarah has:) Did you notice that she's moving to VA? Maybe that should tell me something. Oh yeah, this post was about pumpkins. I'd better comment on that! SCARY!! What more can I say?
